Brockman Community House opened its doors in 1986 after a group of Lockridge mothers realised a need for a family focused facility in the area. Thanks to State Government support for their idea a purpose built centre was erected fro their Associations use. We function as a Community House which encompasses our Community Support Program, Childcare and Outside School Hours Care.
Brockman Community House are governed by a Management Committee made up of community members. All staff and committee members work together to ensure we meet the vision of our organisation, always pushing forward to provide the best opportunities for our Community. To that end we regularly review and work towards the directives that are set down in the Brockman Community House Strategic Plan which is developed through engagement between Board, Staff, Service Members, Community Members and other local Stakeholders.
