Creche

Making learning and social activities accessible for parents
We have some wonderful courses and social activities on offer at Brockman House, but it can be difficult for parents to access these when they have young children. That is why creche is offered to all parents using the Centre for our courses. Brockman House believes all parents and families have the right to be able to access services which can improve their social outlook and learning opportunities.

Creche facilities
Our Creche workers have National & Working With Children checks as well as Senior First Aid Certification. We have our own special creche room with a variety of toys and games including creative art play such as painting. We also have a large fenced playground and sandpit for creche children to play in, an undercover outdoor play area for inclement weather, and a host of outdoor toys.

Creche Guidelines
If you will be utilising our creche services whilst you’re at one of our courses, their are some rules that you must abide by -

  • Parents must remain on the premises when their child is in creche. If you do not do so, you will be in contravention of State Creche Regulations and you may not be able to utilise our creche services again.
  • Parents must also bring nappies, comforters, food and a SunSafe hat with their child.
  • Creche fees apply. Parents must pay these prior to using the service.

A copy of our booklet – Guidelines for parents using creche, is available on our Downloads page.

Fees
Fees are payable each time you use creche. Fees information is available at Reception

Let us know…
If you need creche, let Reception know when you’re booking the course prior to coming to the course so we can arrange creche workers. You also need to let Reception know if you’re not coming, so we can inform our creche staff prior to them arriving.
