Child Care Fees

Brockman House Child Care fees are designed to cover staff wages, which constitute at least 85% of expenses, and other overheads like insurance and utilities. Fees are kept to the bare minimum and are only raised when costs of living or staff wages have increased. If any profit is made from fees, it goes straight back into the Child Care Centre for improved resources.

Brockman House Child Care Centre is Fully Accredited which means that we can offer Child Care Benefit for families. It is up to each family to contact the Family Assistance Office on: 13 61 50 (or 13 12 02 for multilingual support) to register for Child Care Benefit. We will then be able to offer you reduced fees.

When you first book your child/ren into the Centre, you must pay a two week bond which consists of two weeks of your daily fees. When fees go up, or you add or remove your child/ren’s days, the bond in your fees will reflect this.

Fees must be paid weekly. Failure to do so for two weeks and your children’s place in care will be given to another family. If you are experiencing difficulties paying, please talk to the Child Care Coordinator or the Financial Administrator to organise a payment scheme. Fees are payable even when your child is absent. You will be informed of the fee structure when you enroll your child into our service. Please see your Parents Handbook for more information.

Fees are payable via EFTPOS at Reception (please note, before 9am and after 3pm, Reception is closed and carers may not be able to leave the children in order to process EFTPOS), or by cash. Please see Reception for more information.
