Brockman Community House News!
On behalf of Brockman Community House thank you to the State Government commitment of $5 million towards a new and much needed building for our services and community members. Behind the scenes we have been working with Minister Dave Kelly, City of Swan and the Department of Premier and Cabinet, we are happy to announce that the project has reached 15% design stage.
Despite a few objections the Council have motioned to approve the location of  Brockman Community Centre to be in the north-west corner of Hull Park, Beechboro. We are grateful for this outcome and thank over 200 community members and local businesses who completed our petition to support our proposed location. Unfortunately we cant please everyone, however we would like to take this opportunity to invite any community members with concerns about the location to come see us at Brockman Community House. We value everyone’s opinion and hope we can try to work with you to resolve or minimise your concerns.
Special thanks to Hon Dave Kelly, Minister; Cr David Lucas, Deputy Mayor; Jenni Burnside, Chairperson; and Brockman Community House Committee; staff team and supporters.
